Okay, so here’s the deal! For the longest time I’ve been wanting a motorcycle, but I’ve always been a bit worried, mainly due to safety. I mean, sure, with proper training you can manage situations and trouble that you could potentially get into on a motorcycle, but I think we’ve all seen those wild and crazy videos! Here’s one with a guy that sort of deserves it – I would never try stunting!

See what I mean? Tries a trick, the motorcycle crashes. Why would you even waste your time doing something like that? I mean, if you’re going to drop $6000+ to stunt around and potentially crash the motorcycle, it seems like a waste of time. I don’t see the appeal. At all.

Long story short, I looked up motorcycle crashes for stats and found very few reliable sources. It’s mostly subjective, but the overall consensus is that, yeah, motorcycles are more dangerous (I don’t need a study to tell you that).

PS: I’m starting out on a Kawasaki Ninja 250. I’d love to hear your experiences with that bike, or any, really.
